The Vegas K9 Rescue group is an alliance of local animal rescue groups.
Our goal is to work together to help save more animals in our community.
All of our organizations are all still working as individual groups but we hope to help each other with rescue, fosters, adoptions, boarding, & other needs.
The rescue groups try to work with local kill shelters to save animals that are unable to be adopted in time.
Our rescue groups would like to eventually obtain our own NO-KILL center that we can share. We would use this center to board our rescue animals, hold adoptions, fundraising, spays/neuters, microchipping, registering of microchips, trainings, & pet ownership classes.
If you are interested in helping our misson, all of our individual rescue organizations are looking for:
Volunteers
Donations
Montetary Funds, Blankets, Food, Collars, & Leashes
You can contact info@vegask9rescue.com or check with individual rescue organizations to see how you can help.
You can read about the recent community events that our organizations have worked on together in our community section below.
We have a Dogster.com group if you would like to join for free to meet other members. http://www.dogster.com/group/Vegas_k9_rescue-12733

How to Kill a Shelter Dog

It's really simple: Buy from an IRRESPONSIBLE BREEDER.

I need you to hear this:

If you buy from an irresponsible breeder, you are killing shelter dogs. YOU.

What's an irresponsible breeder? Any breeder that does not breed as a caretaker and devotee of her particular breed, as shown by showing, health testing, and being involved in a community of her peers.
